REVIEW OF ALUMINA IN ADSORPTION PROCESSES FOR EMERGING POLLUTANTS

چکیده
Water pollution can be found in the oceans, seas, rivers and lakes which taken as organic pollutants or better known emerging pollutants. Emerging (EP´s) are chemical substances that persist environment, these molecules food chain causing risks adverse effects for human health environment. EP´s not they discharged effluents indiscriminately, this reason is important to improve water treatment by application of advanced techniques adsorption. Adsorbents like alumina their large surface area, high mechanical properties good resistivity thermal degradation. Aluminum oxide (Al2O3) a solid white ceramic material has been considered an efficient adsorbent removal treatment.
